At YIAL it is our teachers
with whom you will be interacting on a
day-to-day basis, and so your success in
learning Arabic and our success in creating a
well rounded program depends upon their
professionalism. To this end we employ only the
highest caliber of instructor with at least
three years of experience in teaching Arabic as
a second language.
Teachers are given
intensive on-the-job training and follow-up
evaluations, including seminars in the most
up-to-date teaching methods, monthly performance
appraisals and regular student feedback.
Essential to YIAL’s mission
of providing our students with the best language
learning experience possible, is our belief in
participatory ownership. Innovative and
talented teachers are given the opportunity to
hold shares in the institute. This shared
ownership has created an atmosphere of diligence
and enthusiasm among our teachers and staff.
Our teachers bring this
enthusiasm into all aspects of the student’s
learning experience, from the more formal
classroom setting to less formal one-on-one
discussions. In both cases teachers are
continuously aware of the individual language
learning needs of each student.
In addition, as we are all
vested in YIAL, there is a shared interest in
maintaining the quality and expertise on which
our institute is founded.
