"Thanks a lot for the month I was able to spend
here at YIAL. I feel that I learned a lot of
Arabic. I appreciate very much the enthusiastic
spirit of this institute. The teaching materials
and especially my teachers were great. God bless
you all". (C.E., July 2007) |

"
I've been studying Arabic since 1988 both in the
United States and in the Arab world and I have
rarely found a setting as amenable to improving
one's language skills as I did at YIAL. The
institute director Abduljaleel Al-Bazeli runs a
highly efficient school and the teachers he has
selected are dedicated and experienced. I would
not hesitate to recommend Yemen and YIAL as the
ideal settings for cross-cultural understanding
and language immersion. I had wonderful
experiences at YIAL that will last a lifetime."

"I
stayed at the institute for four weeks. I was a
complete beginner and have found the standard of
teaching to be excellent and was amazed at how
quickly I learned.Because the institute is quite
small you find that you develop a close
relationship with the teaching staff, and the
other students, which perhaps you wouldn't find
elsewhere. The fact that the institute isn't in
the old city is actually a benefit in my
opinion. The institute is situated in a
neighbourhood that is much more natural, and it
is
much
cheaper. Also the old city is only a short bus
ride away in any case. All in all it was a great
experience". (David Warren, July 2007) |

"My
time at YIAL has been absolutely terrific. I
really enjoyed myself here, especially since we
were received with such great Yemeni
hospitality. The teachers are excellent, always
so patent in explaining the rules of the
language. The facilities here also exceeded my
expectations, and the trips organized during the
weekends were nice. Everything was Mumtaz, but
what made my time really great here are the
people in YIAL".

"I
love my time in YIAL. The people in YIAL are
very friendly and always hospitable. I will miss
everything here very much and I hope, God
willing, that I will return one day I'm
extremely grateful to my teachers: Abduljaleel,
Adnan, Abdussamad for teaching me so diligently
every day". (Joyce Chen, July 2007) |
 |
"I
have had the most amazing three weeks here at
YIAL, which will never forget. The thing I will
miss the most is definitely the people here. All
of you at YIAL have made my time absolutely
wonderful. The teachers were very effective and
best of all. I especially love the activities
and the trips. Will miss all of you".
(Farhana, July 2007) |

"To
all the great people at YIAL: Thank you so much
for making our stay in Yemen so enjoyable.
Everything was great: The teachers, the classes,
the Institute ... I look forward to the day when
I see all of you again, InshaAllah, it will be
soon". (Ira Alexander, July 2007) |

"Arabic Language isn't that scary to me anymore.
Thanks YIAL, I had some of the best times of my
life because of you". (Shahidah, July
2007) |
 |
" I
will never forget any of you. Your facilities
and learning methods are excellent. I hope I
will be able to visit Yemen and YIAL again".
( Huseinah, July 2007) |
 |
"I
studied at YIAL for only a week but I found my
time with them to be very useful. My speaking
ability increased, and the teachers were able to
explain several points of Arabic grammar, that
previous teachers had been unable to clarity – I
intend to study at YIAL again when I return to
Yemen." (Larry Specht, June 2007 ) |
